  1. Federal approval by DOJ or AG is absurd. It tromps on states rights to run elections. And subjects them to a partisan appointed branch of government for approval. Violating the very essence of every constitutional amendment dealing with elections. It is in effect making DOJ or AG a judiciary. Which it is not. Constitutionality is the courts job to rule on. NOT DOJ or AG. And for a good reason. History has shown their bias on both sides. And their willingness to act as political attack dogs filing suits they know have no merit. But use it as harassment. Borderline prosecutorial misconduct. While letting blatant, publicly confessed crimes go unanswered. Or delaying prosecutions because it makes certain parties look bad. It violates every idea of checks and balances. It makes one small partisan council, police, prosecutor and judge. And if you think bias doesn't exist. Let's talk about SON's refusal to charge Cuomo after he publicly admitted to falsifying federal documents on nursing home deaths, amongst other things, or Hunters falsifying federal firearms documents, or Biden's unconstitutional extension of the eviction moratorium. To name a few. These so called restrictive laws are in states that have more voter access than over a Dozen blue states. Including the Presidents home state of delaware. This whole concept of pre approval is more restrictive than any election law the democrats and the left have called into question in the last year. It should not see the light of day, along with the so called "for the people's act". Which is anything but it's namesake.
