  1. This does not even take into consideration why D.C. was created to begin with. Specifically NOT to be tied to any one state. Or have to rely on that state for security or day to day operations. Water, sewer etc. Go read a history book. Turning D.C. into a state. Puts it right back into the very situation that left. And puts the Nations capitol in a position where undue influence by a partisan state could be leveraged. Besides being a power grab by backdoor methods.
