  1. What about land claims in Maine in the 70's. Do those lands fall under the same laws as reservations.? Would this have any bearing on HOA 's on requirements to join. Or jurisdiction. Like if a Native American sold their property on a reservation to a non-Native American. Does the property remain under Tribal regulations or not? Are crimes committed on tribal lands by non tribal members subject to. Tribal, federal or local jurisdiction? When indigenous peoples purchase property beyond original described parcels. Whose jurisdiction does that come under? Know over the last 50 years. Indigenous peoples have fought to reclaim some of their lands. And have won in several cases. Or settled . But never really clear on specifics. Other than hunting and fishing in my state. And even at that the state could do a better job on clarity. Getting better. Especially with GPS and mobile Apps.
