It makes me wonder if there's something like the Tuskegee Experiment going on. Peoples lives are being ruined as a result of not getting the antibiotic in time and/or the insurance not paying for the entire duration of the treatment. Its unbelievable.

And there's a difference from being a representative of the lowest earning quintile and growing up under under certain parenting styles. Look, I'm not going to claim I know what was normal for you as a kid, but I can assure you that not all poor folks get their kids fucked up so they'll sleep. Poverty is systemic, but ignorance doesn't constantly align w being broke. Yes, poor folks tend to be less informed on basic shit and more likely to make reckless decisions, such as giving their children booze and pot to sleep.
