  2.  @SecretLifeOfVicta  My dad always said Platoon was his favorite film on Vietnam; Full Metal Jacket had the most accurate boot camp scenes, but hamburger hill was the most accurately depicted overall, but he didnt not a great movie. He also said the opening scene of saving private ryan seemed accurate, but he couldnt speak on it first hand, because he was in Vietnam.
