  1. J. Harris., dude, please. What, are white millenials filling blues venues? No, they aren't. Trust me, ive been playing blues guitar for over 35 yrs (im now 43): young faces represent about 2% of the audiences and most of this miniscule percentage were dragged there by their parents. Its my hope that blues makes a comback, by any means necessary. If it does reemerge, it will likely happen by way of a young popular musician who happens to be embracing that old sound. Kids will listen to just about anything -- highly impressionable creatures -- mumble rap nonsense and growl metal is crippling on the senses, so why not recycle the blues?
