  1. Youre right, he did already say why he fought Santos like that. He's said that about numerous opponents, as you mentioned also. But Jon ran against Rampage. He closed real quick and took him down. They even joked about it in the post fight press conference. Either way, Jon is the master of beating his opponents at their own game.

  3.  @Benbones99  in all seriousness, hes done that to just about every guy hes faught other than Evans and Rampage. Sure, he choked Machida but it was strikes on the feet that set it up. I think it was a short right hook that set it up -- I could be totally wrong. But yes, that Glover fight was something else. He did beat him w his own tools.
