  1. A tariff to one product of one country is protectionism, but a scalpel. .... a general tariff on all products is extortion (and hurts consumers) Example : what if the government would demand a 5% additional income tax from you unless you wear a red hat?

  2.  @CB-db1qx  Obama knew how to use tariffs, Trump doesn't even know that tariffs are a tax. Example : if you tax tobacco to make people stop smoking that's a tool. If put a tax on everything until people stop smoking that's just extortion (and how Trumps brain works)
