Prayer has no business being a part of our political discourse. The First Amendment guarantees your right to worship as you choose but your religious beliefs should be private.

As the head of the Catholic Church, the Pope offered compassion for our fellow man and resilience instead of a dogmatic adherence to what the poorly educated take as dogma for practice. @stevencorey1278 in a way that's true, Joe. The 18th Amendment banned alcohol and then the 21st Amendment repealed that ban.

@InfamousX1000 prayer is a practice and not a group and it isn't an underrepresented group which faces inequality. A National Day of Prayer makes as little sense as a National Day Against Quartering or a National Day of Jury Trials.
