  8. That's an oversimplification. The domestic terrorists who committed sedition at the behest of Trump didn't respond to his words in isolation. These traitors were fed a diet of misinformation leading them to believe the election was stolen and "trial by combat" (Guiliani's term) was justified response. Everyone spreading this lie is culpable but Trump had the biggest platform. Betraying the public trust to benefit personally is patently anti-American.
