  2. I've often found it odd that a species that considers the preservation of nature to be paramount is at constant WAR with it. Bacteria and viruses are the vultures of the natural universe. They clean. Humanity simply refuses to see itself as part of nature...but ABOVE it. Look at polio. It co-existed with humanity for thousands of years(THOUSANDS of YEARS) before it was decided that this disease, which only proved fatal or paralytic in a small % of cases, had to be eradicated. Why? I'm not against vaccination, although I find it odd that as someone who was vaccinated with dTAP as an infant, I still ended up in oxygen tents due to disease states(Croup/tracheitis). Why is that? It didn't take? So it would it appear that the infections I received as an infant were do to bacteria(at least MY bacteria) that were already vaccine resistant, hence the dTAP not working or the bacteria already growing resistant in perhaps a very short span of time. As Fleming predicted. He knew nature was always going to be one step ahead.
