  1. They replaced one form of slavery with another. They went from the quasi fascist government of apartheid to the full on communist model and the country has been dying, economically and socially, ever since. The communists will tell you it takes time for the flowers of socialism to fully bloom. This is, of course; nonsense. Instead of having INTELLIGENT and SANE people in charge after the fall of apartheid, they placed EMOTIONAL and INSANE ideologues instead. Voilà.
