  1. The University of Toronto granted amnesty to all Pro-Hamas protesters at the 2 month encampment held at the school. To all students, all professors, all unions. I quit 2 days ago. After almost 12 years of working there, this was the final straw. They are ACTIVELY protecting terrorist sympathizers under the aegis of the right to protest.

  3.  prof.jezebel  I've been through a lot at the university, mostly dealing with personal interactions (harassment being one of them). The encampment and the amnesty decision proved to be something I couldn't tolerate. I had to leave. When the protection of the entity (in this case, the university itself) becomes paramount over the people that want to work in an environment that isn't detrimental to their health, one has to choose themselves, imo.

My former spouse was required to take a citizenship test, either in French or English, about 35 years ago. She was originally from Belfast. In her test there were provided "INTERPRETERS", people that HELPED people pass their tests, because they couldn't/wouldn't speak the languages of their new "country".

  10.  @HistorymysteryX  The reason that these students were granted amnesty is twofold: Their relative affluence How much money they bring to the school When was the last time you heard of any political leader, especially those deemed "revolutionary", who was poor? None. The poor/peasants are kept as fodder. Many of these students will go on to graduate work and will become teachers at the school or other universities. Guaranteed.

  11. I was at a friend's apartment for dinner some years ago and I had noticed that she had visited Turkey. She was Croatian by birth. I had mentioned off hand why would a feminist like yourself visit a majority Muslim country like Turkey. She became visibly upset, ran into her room and brought back a copy of THE BOOK and wanted me to point out where in THE BOOK it mentioned treating women like slaves. When I pointed out several passages, she explained that I had misinterpreted THE BOOK. She had been in Turkey for 1 month. That was the last time I spoke with her.

  13. It's interesting. In the New York City of the mid to late 19th century, there was an area known as the 5 Points. This area was depicted in the film Gangs Of New York, which only scratched the surface of how bad this area really was. Read the book by Herbert Asbury. Imagine a 4 year old girl's throatbeing slit for a penny. That's how awful it was. The people that comprised these vicious gangs of thugs/rapists/murderers were predominantly Irish, first and/or second generation. Here we are now and the modern politicians want desperately to recreate that era ALL over the WORLD but instead of the Irish, it's illiterate Muslim teens/"men" spoon fed on a diet of the Q'uran and all its inherent tenets. They (the "woke") politicos DEMAND this. Demand the destruction of Ireland. Again.

  17.  @ASMRyouVEGANyet  I would argue that a degree doesn't necessarily make you a better worker, although in your case it certainly would/could make a difference. I'm basing this solely on your given experience. About 60 years ago my mother, who has a grade 8 education level, TRAINED university graduates in the insurance industry. Now a college/university degree is required to work as a admin/secretary. Why? In the scenario mentioned, neither of these new hires have degrees or education, beyond the requisite. I do know that they would/should have gone through an interview process, as I did. I do know that one of them was still asking about how to turn on the air conditioning in the vehicle they drive...

  23. What they want, at least in the States, is a return to the Five Points of the 19th century, only instead of one city (NYC) they want it nationwide. Instead of Irish and Italian, it will be South American, Mexican and ME. There WILL be rape gangs (as the UK has experienced), there will be mass crime waves, there will be war, on a street level, the likes of which the world hasn't seen in the West since the 19th-early 20th century. The police will not be able to stop it (those that aren't corrupt) and neither will the government. What passes for the left will raise their fists in triumph whilst their minions are busy slaughtering...while the right is busy slaughtering. It is not going to be pretty.

Campus police were designated as protection for these groups When one Jewish student decided to hold his own protest he was immediately removed and told he was trespassing.

  28. Chris knows this. Back in the 70's, scientists discovered that children with dysphoria "transitioned" naturally and became gay men and women. Then, there was a sea change in the 80's-90's and these new scientists (who represented the same schools as the 70's scientists) decided that these were children trapped in the wrong bodies and so the FRANKENSTEINING began. It's so malignant. A societal malignancy that MUST be stopped. If you're an adult (18+) destroy yourself if you want. Anyone under the age of 18 hands off.
