  1. Scenario: We are the aliens or rather we are the memory banks of aliens. Eons ago a highly advanced alien civilization realized that they could encode, on individual atoms, their life experiences. These atoms ended up as a part of our physiology, as they are want to do, and as a result, all of science fiction literature, from the fantastic to the sublime, is based on these alien experiences. 🤫
