  2. How much money have you put into the house? How much have you paid in property taxes? Electricity and water? Repairs? If you sell the house for $1,000,000 in the future, your family has already put close to an additional $50,000 (or more) in the previously mentioned costs, above and beyond the cost of the house. Then, where CAN you buy for $1,000,000? Thunder Bay? Certainly nowhere near urban centers.

  3. Canadians, especially affluent Canadians, DEMAND and ENACT laws that keep their GREEN spaces intact. They want their COTTAGES, their bike paths, their PERSONAL SAFE spaces protected. Their want their STYS off limits to the proles. Canada is headed for a level of crime that will be unprecedented in its history. Those of affluence will have their property TAKEN in a revolution.
