  16. Amazing how DULL people are when they see BIRDS(shot from a considerable distance away and not even in focus) and believe them to be UFOS. Check out Thunderfoots fantastic debunking of these OFFICIAL Navy pilots footage on his YouTube channel. When the government starts releasing the footage that SHOWS something other than out of focus birds or conventional aircraft, then you can say it's unexplained. Until then, it's just nonsense and nonsensical.

  19. There's also the TOYIFICATION of firearms. TOYIFICATION. People buy firearms that they see in movies. They don't NEED the firearm but they want it 'cos it's cool. The ascent of firearms in the U.S. to the level of deification is not healthy. One shouldn't worship but rather hold a great amount of fear and respect for what a firearm is capable of. Ending a life. Any life. The vast MAJORITY of firearm owners in the States do have that fear and respect for what firearms are capable of. Firearms should NEVER make one feel powerful. EVER. Not even the police or military. It is a tool. A lethal tool to be sure, but a tool. I get spooked around people who say they feel "empowered" by firearms. No. Do you feel empowered by the keys in your pocket? Your wallet? Your cell phone? You shouldn't. If you conceal carry the firearm should make one feel a certain level of security but never power. That kind of power should never be felt imo.

  32. Mearsheimer and others predicted this years ago. Putin will WRECK the Ukraine if the EU, the West and NATO kept pushing...after they promised they wouldn't. This is a 50-50 split of blame. The West, of course, refuses to concede this. Chomsky is merely reiterating what Mearsheimer predicted. The Ukraine IS wrecked. The West deciding to fight this war tacitly with Russia WILL lead to bad bad bad things. Look to history. We ARE repeating ourselves.

  34. They keep talking about the "NEW" right which is just a buzz word to sell a story. What you are seeing is a resurgence of classical liberalism within a certain sphere. In Canada we used to have a party called the Progressive Conservatives, who were(at one time) the gatekeepers of classical liberalism in my country. They are now merely called the Conservative Party(although they still espouse classical liberalism as their platform in most cases). Now in the States you have a resurgence of these center right(economically) individualists who are socially concerned(within limits) but against collectivism and big government.
