  1. They keep talking about the "NEW" right which is just a buzz word to sell a story. What you are seeing is a resurgence of classical liberalism within a certain sphere. In Canada we used to have a party called the Progressive Conservatives, who were(at one time) the gatekeepers of classical liberalism in my country. They are now merely called the Conservative Party(although they still espouse classical liberalism as their platform in most cases). Now in the States you have a resurgence of these center right(economically) individualists who are socially concerned(within limits) but against collectivism and big government.
