  5. @Cosmonauteable That's horseshit. Not everyone can learn to code or rather, not everyone can learn at the same rate. I've had several friends wash out after their second year so...if the learning curve is that steep. Couple to that the cut throat nature of computing. Check out the stats on computer engineering and suicide rates.

  7.  @frozenelement7110  No it isn't, not at the current level of tech. Maybe when they get the cost down, the development of nano cells, the development of non-poisonous cell materials etc. Until then, people who can't afford to be "environmental" will use other means.

  8.  @frozenelement7110  Too funny. Apple and Samsung and now Google all own the smartphone industry and their flagships cost...$700-$1000 each. How's about wireless headphones? $150-$400 a pair for buds. As I said, in a decade or so maybe there will be inroads but as long as people need to be affluent.
