  1. True. Social media streams are chock a block with cults. That's why I don't give an opinion on anyplace but YouTube(for now). I don't Tweet, Face, Insta, Pin, etc. Too many trying to force their opinions on others or believing (ha,ha) that they are the gods of the Earth. The universe doesn't care about you or me or the planet either. Learn to live with that.

  2. Plants also utilize nutrients in the soil created by the bodies of...wait for it...dead animals. It is a system that relies on reciprocity. We die, they live, they die, we live.

  3. Plants do rely on nutrients in the soil and water to live and thrive. Does the water the plants absorb to live contain living bacteria? Animal life(as simple as it is)? Yes. Do plants require magnesium, phosphorous and other nutrients to grow? Of course. How do plants get those nutrients? From the death of other living organsims, animals and plants. This is basic biology.

  4. I do agree about factory farming and protecting the house we live in and which gave birth to us... ...however. I don't for one minute believe that human beings have either the intellect or will to save a planet. We're not that powerful.

  5.  @Kpictures_NYC  You do realize that wind farms kill thousands of flying species, right? You do realize that solar is nowhere near the level it needs to be to compete with nuclear, right? You do realize this, right? Bernie will not be elected, his Green deal is a joke. In order to mitigate any "climate change"(either man made or natural or a combination of both) it will take the combined monetary output of every single country on the planet, amounting to trillions of dollars and that's just to let a group of scientists use the planet as a giant laboratory(which they love to do). So, the same types of people that helped to create this supposed disaster are the same ones to "save the planet". That's insane. Also, I don't keep house plants or pets. Plants do rely on water, which still contain millions of bacteria (animals) which they absorb along with trace nutrients dissolved in said water.
