  2. Remember an EMT stating this: There are 3 kinds of homeless people. 1. Those who have experienced an economic upheavel or trauma but who will eventually make it out because they desire it and it will be transitory. About 5%. 2. The mentally ill who, due to a lack of legislation (no one can be FORCED into treatment) and their own addictions/conditions stay on the street until they die. 70%. 3. The homeless who want nothing to do with society BUT want society to provide them with practically everything else. These individuals can be viewed as a portion of section 2 but not always. 25%. So...how do you "solve" this problem? You don't. The 5% who are FIGHTERS will stay off the streets because they care enough about themselves to do it. The other 95%?
