  1. How about the union members, who are many, who make a six figure salary? Why is it when a smaller group of union members strike there are thousands of others who refuse to show up to show solidarity? It's called economic Darwinism. People will show up, march and shout and demand for THEM, all others be damned. When the next group strikes(and there are going to be many in the coming months) will the fed employees come out in the thousands to support the others? No, they won't. That's the problem. No one is willing to shut down the entire country for the lesser. Once I've got mine(and modern union history has shown this to be true) I'm out of here. Does the federal union member making $90,000 a year give a s*** about the provincial union member making $50,000? No they don't. If they did, they would strike en massé. Fact.
