  1. Vastly over rated troops. They have only won 2 engagements. The Bruneval raid - a small skirmish action against rear element engineers/technicians at the radar station. Then the Falklands. D-Day was a damp squib - landed too dispersed. Sicily just a failure many landed in the sea.. Arnhem a failure failed to seize their objective. The paras do like to live on the dream of being shock troops. They are nothing without RAF crews except well trained infantry.

  2.  @Bullet-Tooth-Tony-  Indeed the Falklands was a clear and important victory. The SS might have been impressed, nevertheless they failed to achieve their objective.

  4.  @terryharrigan7705  No point in capturing 1 end of a bridge. We all know the severe limitations of lightly equipped paras. It just amuses me that they make so much of their ethos, when a look at their record doesn't stack up.
