Given the under funding, lack of ships, poor pay, poor equipment a young man or woman is stupid to join UK Forces at the moment. Not to mention a government lead by a blonde clown. Your life is worth more than risking your life for Boris. What do I know.... ex UK regular.

@davidtaberner3400 Doesn't alter the fact that UK forces are under equipped, paid etc. If it ever kicks off with Russia, UK forces won't last very long.

@Steve Eddie I'm not. The comment is about dumb UK governments that refuse to fund national defence properly with equipment, manpower and salaries etc. Not worth joining for the clowns in London.

@Steve Eddie When I joined, we had the men and equipment to give a good account. UK forces are now little more than a local defence force, not military credible.
