All a result of British politicians for the past 30yrs not taking defence and the associated industrial manufacturing capability seriously. The problem is there are no votes in defence. The Tories prefer to give tax cuts to their mates. Even if UK forces expanded, so many bases/airfields etc have been closed, so we would have no where to put the the people and equipment.
