  1. Well Admiral what do you have to say about the poor land attack capability of the RN surface ships, having to rely on the RAF again .

  2.  @SteveDonaldson-r5k  The issue is that the RN constantly accept designs of warships that have really poor missile armament for land attack and even the anti ship capability is questionable. Having 2 aircraft carriers stuck back in the UK is eff all use. But yes I agree the carriers should have been built with catapults and also have been compatible with both F18 and F35 aircraft. Also a carrier borne AEW aircraft is required Yes I have been to Akrotiri a number of times when I used to wear a blue suit.
