Here's the crazy stupidity of the situation: -Regular burger $5 -Beyond meat burger $8 -Bag of Lentils $6 Now, we know how many servings you get from each of those burgers. The bag of lentils, has anywhere from 3-6 non-meat servings in it. The stupidity: Paying MORE for a meatless product from a reputable source, rather than buying the cheapest, meatless product that was there LONG BEFORE the reputable source starting advertising it. This is nothing more than brand power preying on insecure consumers.
