  2.  @MrBaxtrax  Frivolous spending would be a better way to put it. Let's face it, a free cheque shouldn't just be spent mindlessly. These people probably were horrible with money to begin with. Payday loans, buying with zero down but interest payments for years. Some people get euphoria buzzes off buying stuff and are tricked into buying crap or bad deals.

  3. Landlord's don't make crazy amounts anyways. And, plenty goes back into the properties via maintenance, repairs and property taxes. Some tenants cause damage that deposits don't cover. Big rental agencies probably make more because they have a strategy. Either way, people pocketing free money intended for a rent-aid is another example of "hand-outs" not fixing anything
