  1. Agree on the grounds that proof would have been damn-near impossible to prove. Modern-day technologies can tie DNA to murder scenes etc. How in the blue hell could they even decipher what a witch was? Like, if your laundry was consistently better and you made better stew - was that because you were a witch? Or, because you were better at cooking and cleaning than everyone else?
