  1. Canadian food isn't from inflated currency. Canadian food increase is because the farming became more expensive. Food gets subsidized too. If the feds give them less and costs remain high, finished product (Canadian bacon, dairy etc) will have the cost increased passed. Dairy is a bad example though because it's usually sold at a loss
