  2. I rent at the moment. But, they give me free stuff. They just started to include my power with the rent cost (without any rent hike) and for signing a year lease, they are giving out free pre-paid visas worth $1000. That's $1000 you can use for necessities and save/invest your cash as you see fit. I do live close to a University so buying property for income for student housing is something I'm looking into

  4. Lots of people I know who are just starting out, they know they have to atleast take on SOME debt. That being said, be smart about it. First thing, shop around for a good credit card, if you can find one with a low interest rate that does rewards, that's a good start. Secondly, only buy things with your credit card that you plan on turning into money. I.e Check out garage sales, thrift stores or Ebay for exceptionally good deals. Always, research before you purchase to make sure you have a decent margin to work with. Buy the item on credit and re-sell the item for even just a few dollars more. Then, take that money and either put it all back on the credit card to lower your overall debt or payback what you owe and pocket the rest.

  9. Yeah exactly. Or buy things you know you can make a few bucks off of and then pocket the few bucks and pay back what you owe
