By doing what telling her she’s tressingpassing than arresting her for causing issues?
2
She can be as upset as she likes she has to get up and leave or make an effort to. Your also assuming she wasn’t just agressive from the start which you have no proof of
2
You mean when she’s teetering on assult on an officer without violence for how she’s amping up
2
What part of this isn’t how you police you give a warn you don’t let the person walk all over you and if they won’t stop you de escalate the problem by detaining the person.
1
Why no matter what happened she has to leave? Why should he waste time on a conversation when he needs to get the pumps unblocked. He can investigate the rest later
1
There’s no mediating he was told she needs to leave that’s all he can do
1
It’s disorderly conduct to disturb or alarm others. She’s also tresspassing
1
She broke three laws. She’s criminally tresspassing she’s obstructing an officer in the course of there duty and her behavior is disorderly conduct
1
Yes if you ignore the tresspassing obstruction and disorderly conduct you could think that’s why she was arrested
1
You see how the cop came up. Why she’s upset at the store is irrelavant but it’s wild to say I bet the cop did this when we see the cop
1
What law is that that says a male officer needs a female there to search them? Name the law I’d be very curious bc I’ve never heard or seen one and I’ve looked. I’m pretty sure your full of it they can search you multiple times exspecially if the first search was a light one for weapons and the second one is deeper and unless you can provide it I don’t know of any law that says a male officer can’t search a female bc that would be stupid. It would mean if no female cop was avaible you couldn’t make sure a female suspect didn’t have anything dangerous on her.
1
The reason she’s stopped there is irrelevant she’s tresspassing the owner wants her gone end of story. He approached her normally and told her that and she made no effort to move. She wanted to argue the reason for the tresspass but that’s not the cops job
1
Please use your head for just a second. The cop means if you have anything illegal on you. Not anything on you in general
1
I noticed she calmed down when she thought she could manipulate a new person. He was super chill to start than she amped up. That’s her fault
1
You have no clue what information they already have when they talk to her so it’s completely possible they don’t need her side. Also for what they need to do her side kinda irrelevant. What would she possible say that negates the tresspassing? Also we don’t see the other employee come to mess with her we see them arguing and with her attitude totally likely she’s causing that
1
He tried twice to be cool and she was amping up. Cops are trained to control the scene that’s what he was doing. Even her coworker/boss told her to calm down and acknoledged it was her actions causing this
1
One this could be all the body cam released bc some states don’t allow for victims to be on camera but also what jnformation do you need that you didn’t get?
1
Technically it’s not the cops problem if she doesn’t want to load the truck. That’s her problem and she loses any benefit of the doubt when she starts yelling at him. The owner said he wants her tresspassed there’s no defense to that. Nothing she can say will change thag fact bc the owner doesn’t need a reason to tresspass her. She has every shot to leave she choose to yell and argue d stall instead at that point she’s tresspassing.
1
You have no clue what they tried to do to resolve it but die liability reasons it’s probably smarter to just call the cops
1
They de escalated fine. They gave commands and than they cut her off from yelling a few times. What they should’ve done is arrest her when she started to not load the truck and yell and it would’ve prevented the other stuff
1
Not that it matters but it did look like he pulled stuff out her pocket
1
There is absolutely no requirement that it’s a female officer that searches a female. There’s nothing saying a male should search a male. What he did was a quick search for weapons than he called a female for a full search. Cops do that when possible bc it’s easier than getting false claims but it’s not required. A bigger policy he has to worry about is he can’t put someone whose not Atleast Pat down in his car and drive with her bc that’s how cops get hurt. Was he super nice to her no was he unprofessional not really
1
Your trolling right? He gave her a chance to start moving with a nice professional order and she said there and started to try ti argue so he was more forceful and she got up and started to yell. That’s what started it
1
He came up calm and respectful and told her what was going to happen. She started to argue than he got confrontational to match her which happens
1
@essel23fly so him not saying hello doesn’t make him not calm or respectful. He told her the owner wanted her to leave. There’s no argument there. She can’t say anything to change that fact. Why she’s there is irrelavant the owner wants her to move. He also didn’t say your not moving fast enough he said your making no effort to pack then which is true. The second she doesn’t move to do the things she needs to do to leave she’s commiting a crime. He’s not confrontational he’s direct. You don’t know what he knows but being direct was probably the best method. Even her coworker thought she was wrong
1
@essel23fly he came up and said real directly and professionally the owner doesn’t want you here so please pack up and leave. He doesn’t have to give her time to pack he’s being nice. You have no idea what he just heard and saw inside. Talking to her wasn’t the starting point it was the last step. He didn’t yell he didn’t argue he gave her a direct order and when she started to mouth off he cut it off. She’s commiting two crimes and than commits another one before he arrests her. She was treated fine
1
@essel23fly that’s not rude or unprofessional its good police work. Nothing she can say would change the order he legally has to give. If she wants to talk about what happened that’s done off the property. Your tone policing a pretty calm and direct cop
1
It’s not he didn’t ask her any question related to her crime. People watch way too much tv. Miranda warnings are required when police ask you a question related to your crime. That’s why it’s you have a right not to talk and a right to a lawyer during questioning. If they never ask you anything than you never need Miranda. Also the consequence to no Miranda isn’t a lawsuit it’s just that they can’t use your confession to a crime or your statements against you
1
So she had a choice even you say she had a choice it’s just one she May not like. The cop was very calm and direct when he came up her being upset isn’t his problem. She amped up so he followed to control the situation
1
How did he come up except calmly and with a calm direct order
1
The male cop looked for immediate weapons than took her somewhere with less people to let the female search her closer. They don’t have to have a female at all that’s them just being nice
1
They have multiple reason tresspassing obstruction disorderly conduct. Just to name three
1
You mean the loud town after she gets up amped up starting to commit a crime? He’s being loud to take control. Also be careful with threats like that people go to jail even if you say in minecraft
1
He’s not. He’s controlling the situation. He’s not power tripping he’s using the power he has and he actually was nicer than he had to be
1
@brandondeakins564 ah yes I know what boot polish tastes like bc I think a cop arresting someone clearing tresspassing and commiting disorderly conduct isn’t power tripping. If you hate cops say that don’t project to everyone else.
1
@ her side of events is irelent. She’s tresspassing nothing she can say will change that. She was at a ten he took clear control. He didn’t make her disorderly shw was already that way. He wasn’t particularly rough or cruel and he gave her a bunch of chances to just leave. Sometimes people just don’t listen. She doesn’t have to yell no one made her do that no one made her fight with store employees the cop didn’t make her do that she choose to do it
1
@ he also doesn’t need to explain her rights to her on the scene when she’s yelling. He’s not questioning her about a crime so there’s no reason to read Miranda. I don’t think people understand Miranda and just watch a lot of law and order
1
@brandondeakins564 he’s not escalating he’s annoyed by her. Cops are human they can get annoyed. You said he didn’t explain the process or read her rights. He’s not obligated to do that exspecially with someone yelling and resisting him. Another cop not wanting to do the paper work doesn’t make this cop an ass it just makes him strict. He should’ve arrested her the first time she made no effort to leave and just ended the whole problem. There’s no argument he did everything legally it’s just a matter kd opinions. You think he’s an ass I think he’s just controlling the scene. Some of your evidence for your opinion doesn’t prove what you want it to prove but you said it you judge hate please can end it there.
1
@brandondeakins564 you don’t know who he’s talked to on scene. Twenty seconds of body cam is not twenty seconds on scene. You have no idea what he’s seen or heard up to that point. She didn’t call about a crime and a crime against her doesn’t nullify the tresspassing. He’s there to handle one issue he’s under no obligation to have a conversation with her
1
@brandondeakins564 also I don’t think he’s an ass the first twenty seconds where him telling her she’s tresspassed and she needs to load and go. She than starts to argue and goes your not gonna tell me what to do and making no effort to leave. Than she stands up and starts to get confrontational and the cop shuts her down. At that point she’s commiting a crime and on the verge of another one. You say he’s being an ass I say he’s taking control of the scene to try and cut out her nonsense so he didn’t have to do what he ended up doing
1
@brandondeakins564 yea watching the start three times now your crazy that cop came in calm and professional and she got up started to yell and saying he can’t tell her what to do than he said if you don’t shut up I’ll put you in cuffs bc now she’s commiting disorderly conduct. He’s the only one who dealt with her the whole time so him being annoyed with her and the other cops not makes perfect sense. At no point does he use unjustified force
1
It’s not a false arrest they have atleast two charges on her.
1
How do you figure? Other than not arresting her sooner and preventing the second issue she caused
1
She’s tresspassing and the cop on scene knows more inteo than you do.
1
No one said that’s not why she has to move. There dealing with the first crime they can deal with and if she wants to report something she can do it after
1
@christinajones1344 no matter what happened she can’t be where she is. Let’s say an employee got in her face and yelled at her unjustifiably. Let’s for the sake of the argument assume that. That effects nothing in terms of her doing nothing to leave when asked. What she can do if that happened is to pack the truck and leave than call non emergency and report it to the police who will deal with it. That’s assuming it’s true which based on her actions and credibility it’s probably not. You have no idea what the cops have heard or seen before they talked to her but it doesn’t matter bc she’s tresspassing and nothing anyone in the store did changes that
1
@christinajones1344 you understand for tresspassing no reason needs to be given and no circumstance changes at that moment. You get that right
1
@christinajones1344 doesn’t matter if she’s trying to do her job. Once the officer knows the owner doesn’t want her there the only thing he can do is remove her. That’s the only action he can take. Again we don’t know why they want her to leave but it doesn’t matter
1
She’s making it hard for cars to go in and out. She’s making no effort to solve that problem. Not that it matter if she’s not doing anything with or for the business why would they want her around?
1
What state is it not illegal to block traffic if your delievering do share so I can verify. Just bc people do it doesn’t make it legal
1
Cops don’t have to tell you that your under arrest before they detain you but the other cop did tell her she’s under arrest and she kept fighting so what’s your point?
1
You can absolutely tell someone whose being disorderly to shut up or they’ll be arrested. Nothing anywhere says they can’t do that. They also don’t stop being citizens that’s a wolf statement. She’s wrong for how she parked to start. If someone came to talk to her and amped her up it’s bc of how she parked which is on her
1
She’s not leaving so that’s tresspassing and you can clearly see her pulling her arms apart that’s resisting.
