  2. ​ @recynd77 because of the Soviet system 30 year ago 89% of the Russian population had private homes (own house), 11% lived in rental homes, and only 0.0008% (11,285 homeless) compared to United States data which only had 64.6% private homes(own house) and 35.2% lived in rental homes ( 114.4 million), 0.2% homeless (582,462) imagine a country as rich as the United States, 35% of the population lives in rental homes and half a million people are homeless
