You failed to mention cases where british tourists driving through France get pulled over by the police/gendarme on some false pretext of a traffic violation and are instantly fined on the spot, when they don`t have the money in their pocket the police/gendarme escort them to the nearest cash dispenser take the money and fail to give a receipt, thus pocketing the cash.
