I have shot the 22lr and 22 short revolvers. I have a tip for having hands large enough to totally cover the revolver. Ignore the sight. Cock it, and then point it. Your hand will totally cover the gun, but you can use the V at the web of your thumb and index as a sight. Works great out to like 5 yards.
