  2. AudieHolland I was thinking more along the lines of heavy duty pick-up, but I think I like this vehicle better. I also just realized that the French had a tank destroyer that mounted this gun as well.

  3. AudieHolland That is a good amount of recoil to tame with just a pick-up, even a large work style one. Maybe a box-truck frame with platform? Well, I do not have the gun so figuring out what vehicle is academic anyway.

  4. Thekilleroftanks Hetzer is the popular name. Tons of weapons get called by there popular name, often named by the troups that use them. The M3 Grease gun is not officially designated the Grease gun.
