  2. I see what you mean about craftsmanship. Everything seems so well fitted. I guess that is what you get when a gunsmith hand builds every gun. I would like one of these, but I doubt I would be willing to pay the price for one. I wonder if modern manufacturing could make these well. The design does not seem all too complicated. I doubt it would sell well though. Only weird people like me want such a firearm, ha. .577, wow that is big. I know black powder rounds are less powerful than modern ammo, but that thing is just absurdly big, ha. I would guess a back-up for large dangerous game, though I am sure it would be a respectable side arm on the battle field.
