@hermiemostert5190 Kissinger’s argument is that war has to eventually end at the negotiating table. Then why not now? His appeal is that negotiations should be resumed as quickly as possible to avert further damage to Euro-Atlantic stability and the global economy, which is already reeling under the fuel and food crisis due to this smouldering conflict on the Eastern fringe of Europe. ..

@hermiemostert5190 Henry Kissinger : “There are three possible outcomes to this war” However he did not mention the tsar bomb attack if Russia is threatened by nato countries and the reason why this is way off the scales of diplomacy and could end up completely out of control with a nuclear catastrophe not seen since Nagasaki and Hiroshima and that devastation caused by the ‘ fall out’

Boris Johnson’s excellent adventure We should recall that only a few months ago Henry Kissinger warned the collective west to stand down and avoid this conflict even at the price of ceding Ukraine’s territory, but his warnings fell on deaf ears. That was in late May. In fact in April and in July of this year negotiated settlement of the Ukraine crisis was being seriously discussed between Kiev and Moscow. But on both occasions, Boris Johnson intervened to torpedo the negotiations and abruptly flew to Kiev to persuade Ukraine’s President Zelensky to end the talks. ..
