For those as baffled as I've been by all the various FRAM modifications, go to https://www.gyrodynehelicopters.com/fram.htm, a site run by former employees of Gyrodyne, the makers of the DASH drone helicopters. They also do a good job of explaining the undeserved bad reputation of DASH, and how they led up to the many types of UAVs in service today.
