  1.  @chinesesparrows  Say what? 15 A-12's were built. They remained in service from 1963 to 1968. The service ceiling of the A-12 was a little higher than that of the SR-71 although both were probably within couple of thousand feet of each other. We don't actually know the real numbers since they are still classified.
