  1. Excellent presentation about the last of the dreadnoughts. HMS Dreadnought was launched in 1906, the ship's name being used to describe an entirely new class of vessels. It's hard to imagine that any naval officer present at the launch would think any navy would voluntarily decommission the last of her sisters just 85 years later.
