  1. I was 12 years old at the time and I remember how shocking it was to have such high official attacked in the street. Our leaders just weren't treated like that in 1958. I really thought we'd at least launch an airstrike on Communist Party headquarters or something else symbolic. In retrospect, I think it was a mistake not to have responded in some way, and the the beginning of further troubles around the world, as other countries perceived us as weak.

  4.  @tonyduncan9852  Well, good for you. People that hate the US should all go somewhere else and be happy there. Britain has more than a few skeletons in its closet when it comes to killing people. Kinda like the pot calling kettle black.

  5.  @tonyduncan9852  I'm well aware of expatriate means. Maybe we can try an exercise in clear, concise writing this time. Are you a British citizen living in the US or a US citizen living in Britain? You can be an expatriate either way.
