  1. Great story, and one I hadn't heard before. The aircraft shown at 3:25 preparing for takeoff is an SR-71B. It was a trainer used to prepare and evaluate pilots for what was a grueling task, and can be recognized by the second cockpit in the bulge over the lower cockpit. Flying the SR-71 required men who could essentially not move for 12 hours while sitting in a confining pressure suit, and could feed themselves using toothpaste like tubes of food-[like material through holes in their visors using a mirror to see if the tube nozzle was going to the right place. .The only survivor of the two SR-71B's built is on display at the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
