Norway has the largest merchant fleet in the world. That's a lot of bottoms to carry troops and supplies. Norway's nearly brand new frigates and submarines would also be a problem for Russia.

@PumpkinEater-dm1xx You must mean Helge Ingstad sunk after the collision with a Maltese registered tanker. Poor commanding and the angle of collision causing seven out of thirteen watertight bullheads to breached. Human error combined with pure bad luck, but Norway still has four left.

@sebastianwurtz5294 I should have said Norway has the largest merchant fleet under the control of a single country where that country isn't a flag of convenience....lol.
