  1. No, Churchill was no friend of Dyer. He wasn't so much opposed to the shootings as he was having Dyer do it when he did and make India much harder to govern. He thought not warning the crown was an ungentlemanly thing to do as well.

  2. At least you got Othias to shut up in a reasonable amount of time. He knows a reasonable amount about weapons but the just can't stop rambling. The average video on his channel for one weapon is over an hour. It doesn't help that he gets progressively more drunk in some videos.

  3.  @josephmccarthy6098  Correct. I read about this in eighth grade history and then again in senior high school history. Being a history fan even then, I was surprised the US had been so involved in the Caribbean and Central America, but I was able to see both sides of the question after studying the matter. Most of my friends, however, memorized enough to pass the test. I suspect some of those bitching about US history not covering this were among some of those people.
