@josephmccarthy6098 Correct. I read about this in eighth grade history and then again in senior high school history. Being a history fan even then, I was surprised the US had been so involved in the Caribbean and Central America, but I was able to see both sides of the question after studying the matter. Most of my friends, however, memorized enough to pass the test. I suspect some of those bitching about US history not covering this were among some of those people.
