Merry Christmas, Dr. Mark, and everyone watching another fine video. A small correction, however. The Waco glider is pronounced "Way-coo".

@MarkFeltonProductions Sorry, Brother, we Yanks sometimes have a hard time agreeing on how to pronounce things. The pronunciation I gave comes from two sources. The first is from a presentation on the Waco glider at the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio, given by the grandson of one of the founders of the Weaver Aircraft Company, the designers of the gliders. Waco comes from an acronym of the company name, and he pronounced it as "Way-coo" during his entire presentation. I'm just making the presumption he heard the company name many times in his life. He was about 80 when I heard his talk. Secondly, at least in the US, the company name pronounced "Whacko" would have an unfortunate connotation, meaning nutter or mad. Hardly the kind of thing you want guys about to get into an aircraft with no engine thinking about. :-)
