  1. It looks like most of the ground scenes came from a movie staged after the event. By 1933 the use of superchargers was well known. The Fairy Fox, for example, had been flying since 1926 with a supercharger and had a service ceiling of 33,000 feet. The real feat of the flight was getting over that part of the Himalayas in good enough weather to get the pictures and not getting lost on the way up or back if the weather closed in.
