  1. Another great video about a little known aspect of the war. I've often wondered what the average German soldier thought after the breakout and with the allies rolling east toward Germany. Did they think Germany still had a chance of winning? Did they realize the war was already lost? How many of the Germans surrendering to the allies on the western front did so because they knew what awaited them to the east?
