  1. The Argentine Air Force was another major user of Lincolns. I remember reading a report of Argentine crews also reporting similar strange noises at night in the aircraft. How many aircraft were " haunted" I don't know, and there was speculation that all this was picked up from RAF reports of the occurances aboard 398.
