The final report to the Luftwaffe on the electronic reconnaissance mission stated that the RAF was using coded communication frequencies that were scattered in the same 10 to 12 meter bands as those used by the Luftwaffe. 10-12 meters (24 -29.950 MHZ) was a common frequency band used for air to ground communications in the 1930's, but the Germans thought even 12 meters (24.890–24.990 (1.800 MHz, just above standard AM broadcasting)
